Welcome to my Website, I've been riding me bike for as long as I can remember and by the age of 16 I had already decided to pursue a professional career in cycling. I started off racing with Cyclocross which then progressed to MTB racing, within just a couple of years I had ridden for Great Britain at the youth Commonwealth games, the European and World MTB championships.
In 2005 I had the opportunity to represent Great Britain in the track world cup scratch race in Manchester, I was 18 at the time and had only ever raced on the track once before at the Nationals the year previous. I had a lot of success winning National titles in the points race, Individual Pursuit and 500m disciplines, I took the opportunity with both hands and finished 5th. It was then where my career was given a major boost and i really started to progress. For the next 4 years I rode with the National Track team, along the way I competed in 2 Elite World and European championships, various world cups and the 2006 Commonwealth games in Australia.
After these 4 years I lost motivation for my track cycling, this is when I decided to return to my roots and what I love most, Cyclo Cross. It was a dramatic change but one that has really kick started my career and is what I can see myself succeeding in. In 2008 i did my first cyclocross season based in Belgium, it went better than I could have ever hoped when I was successfully enough to be selected and take part in the 2009 world championships in Holland where I finished a respectable 14th place after just a few months back in the sport.
Since then I have signed a contract with one of the biggest cyclocross teams in Europe (AVB) this has given me everything I need to kick start my career as a cyclocross rider and i hope to bring you the news and results on how my seasons progress from here..........
Thank You for visiting x
